Jackie Siegel, a North Shore Chicago artist, is known for her impressionistic yet modern oil and acrylic paintings. Full of color and playfulness, her artwork is imaginative, whimsical, and jubilant.
I have had a keen interest in working with color and the effects of light all my life.
My love for drawing started at a very early age, attending private art lessons and classes at the Art Institute of Chicago. I have won Scholastic Awards and an art internship at Illinois State University. As a student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign I studied art. I have illustrated and edited a cookbook, “The ABC’s of Cooking.” My works have been displayed in many local Chicagoland area shows and exhibits.
